Shamanic Mentorship

Sometimes people are looking for one-on-one mentorship more than a full program. These are generally folks who have an intact or living shamanic lineage from their ancestral cultures, or who are clearly connected to their spirit guides and gods, who function as their primary teachers.

These students generally won’t have a call to practicing the Balanzu Way per se, but may appreciate having a human teacher who can help them navigate and balance the things their sacred beings ask of them. Alternately, if they have another living shamanic teacher, who is embedded in their ancestral culture and traditional teachings, it’s sometimes helpful to have a mentor who can figure out how to help them bridge those ways with modern life and spirit practices.

Jai offers shamanic mentorship once a month in private session to select students. They have worked with shamanic apprentices of indigenous heritage from the Americas, as well as beyond, such as Hmong, Phillipino, and Australian Aboriginal, amongst others.

If you’re interested in doing this work, please reach out to Jai directly via text at 503-683-305. They take these students on as time and space allows, on a rolling basis.

The Balanzu Way School is committed to right relationship with all beings. We believe shamanic work, which addresses imbalance in the world as in the person, must therefore be concerned with equity, diversity, authenticity, and social justice.
